Bertrand, Francis, William and everyone,

Thanks for your time spent on the matter of the ITU May 2nd
consultations. All points are well taken including that people who
could attend, register and rush to the 'crime scene'. (Francis)

It is clear that there is much concern about and enthusiasm to
participate in plans for follow up mechanisms.

It is also clear that while no doubt well intentioned the ITU cherry
picked invitees whilst not being aware of the wealth of expertise they
were potentially excluding in that process, or of the democratic
procedures that operationalise CS participation.

I think we have a our bases covered now. We have trusted colleagues
there, we make the point at the meeting, that this should not be
labeled as a broad consultation, we hear later from those present what
was said, and we call for broader CS participation in future meetings
to address this topic.

s'occuper, s'enregistrer et se précipiter à la 'scène de crime '.

Il est clair qu'il y ait beaucoup de souci concernant et l'enthousiasme
à participer aux plans pour des mécanismes d'ultérieur. Il est
également clair que tandis qu'aucun puits de doute pas intentioned les
invitees sélectionnés par cerise d'ITU tandis que ne se rendant pas
compte de la richesse de l'expertise qu'ils excluaient potentiellement
dans ce processus, ou des procédures démocratiques cette participation
de CS d'operationalise.

Je pense que nous faisons couvrir nos bases maintenant. Nous avons fait
confiance à des collègues là, nous faisons la remarque lors de la
réunion, que ceci ne devrait pas être marqué comme large consultation,
nous recevons des nouvelles plus tard des participants ce qui était
dit, et nous réclamons une plus large participation de CS à de futures
réunions pour adresser cette matière.
