SMSI Tunisia: Microsoft partner of the COSMSI
Organizer of the SMSI in Tunisia, the COSMSI (Committee of
Orgnisation of the world Summit on the Company of Information), signed
a convention of partnership with the world giant of data processing,
Microsoft Sunday August 7, 2005.
Ben Ali and Ammar discuss the organization of the SMSI which will be

to the convention signed by Mr. Habib Ammar, president of the COSMSI
(Committee of Orgnisation of the world Summit on the Company of
Information, Tunis, Tunisia) and Mr. Naceur Kettani, regional manager
of Microsoft for North Africa, Microsoft will place at the disposal
of the COSMSI products of high technology in the fields of the waiters
of infrastructure, transport and information management, Intranet and
the data bases.
The world giant of the software also engages so that the software and
solutions used during the top are completely transferred to the houses
from young people concerned with the Tunisian ministry of Youth, the
Sports and physical Education once the finished event.
N the other hand, Microsoft will be authorized has to make pubs in
certain publications of the COSMSI or at the time of demonstrations
organized by this one to accomodate the SMSI whose 2nd phase will take
place in November 2005 in Tunis.
Previously, the COSMSI had signed agreements of the same kind with
large Tunisian and foreign companies of which Tunisair, Tunisia
Télécom, the Tunisian Post office, Alcatel and two Chinese
companies, namely ZTE and Huawei.
The Behaviour of the SMSI had been decided in 2001 by the General
meeting of the United Nations. The 1st phase of the SMSI had taken
place in December 2003 in Geneva in Switzerland.
